Sabr

When you ask Allah swt for patience, He won't give you patience. Instead, He will place you in situations that are purposed to test you, that will make a normal human being angry, lose steam, give up, tear the wall down, cuss and swear but He wants to see if you are patient. So accept it with an open mind and heart, breathe in, and let go.

O Allah, make us to be patient. Grant us patience of the best of patience. Ameen.

We Plan, yet He is the Best of Planners.

Bismillah.
In life, we plan, don't we?
But sometimes, our plans are cancelled. I got quite irritated that my mum's plan and I was cancelled at the last minute when I was already on my way to meet her. Soon after, my mum called again and cancelled the second plan. However, the result of both? I managed to attend an important briefing of an event I would be participating in. At that particular briefing, it was where I received my "wake-up call" with regards to my role as a leader in MS and the kind of standard I have to consistently build, with respect to knowledge and the book of Allah swt, the Qur'an.

The first part seems pretty small and petty but if you look at how Allah swt has planned out everything for you, and when it happens, you just can't help but be thankful. It's amazing, really, how sometimes you think you won't be able to make it for an invitation or an important briefing due to other plausible reasons but Allah, made it possible such that You will go to and go through what He has willed for you. Subhanallah.
Alhamdulillah. All praises be to Allah swt.

So the next time your plans are cancelled or postponed etc, keep calm and have patience. Have faith that it is all a part of His Plan and if you seek the good out of it, insyaAlllah, all will be well :')

The Best of Books

Bismillah.
Alhamduillah, indeed, Allah swt, Al-Wahhaab(The Bestower) bestows upon us so many blessings in countless forms. We thank Him for every drop of rain that surfaced this land, the fresh and exuberant air, the clear skies.

Has it ever occured to you how much of a blessing it is to be able to read the Quran? Even if it's just Surah al-Fatihah?
Has it dawned upon you how special you are to be chosen by Allah swt, to read His Kalam?
Have you realised that this world and the vast knowledge of it contained in abundant books, will never come close to the Book of Allah? And He chose you.
To read His Words,
in the language that He Himself communicated it with to Malaikat Jibril, to Prophet Muhammad(saw) and to you?

To myself first, let's examine our relationship with The Book, al-Quran. For this is one of two gems that we should hold on strongly to, the other being As-Sunnah, to be a slave whom He is pleased with.
Let's see how we can improve on it. And fully utilize and implement it to be a better Muslim, to be closer to Him, insyaAllah.

Ramadhan is around the block too, insyaAllah. Let's always check and renew our intention that the ultimate reason that we want to read the Quran and benefit from it is not because it's the month of Ramadhan solely but, because of so much more

So why is the Quran important to you? :)

Stress?

Stress is a test. Working under time constraint is a test. Feeling like doing something else when you're supposed to be doing something is a test. Feeling like you're far from your goals is a test. Don't dismiss the fact, that it is a test. But, they are just small tests from Allah. Because they're incomparable to what could be in store. Because they're incomparable to the hidden blessings behind and beneath it. Because they're incomparable to the tests that others are facing and they're handling it so much better. Because they're incomparable to the tests that our prophets had gone through and excelled in. Because they're incomparable to the bountiful of goodness that you're enjoying concurrently while faced with those tests.

Don't magnify it. Don't complain. Just accept. Breathe. Comfort your heart with patience, train your mind with diligence, ask Allah to help You. All will be well insyaAllah. Ameen.

Keep It Low

Bismillah.

I'd like to share something pertaining something close to heart, especially recently. That is, lowering of the gaze. This excerpt is from the article, "10 Habits We Must Avoid in Ramadhan" at Gsalam.net. All praise is due to Him for bringing me to read it and I couldn't have find this piece more relevant, now that we are less than a month away from Ramadhan, bi idhnillah.

Oh, and another thing. When we learn something, it's only proper that we follow through it with actions. That of course, should be the way. But it's not always easy as Allah swt, will present you with tests to test you if you would practise what you've learnt or be enlightened or reminded of. But that's alright, as much as we fail sometimes in rising up to His tests, His Mercy is so much more greater. Don't despair, keep trying again and again. Most importantly, don't give up. Because Allah swt never did, with us. :')

Eyes is one of the greatest blessings Allah has bestowed upon His Creatures. It’s therefore entrusted upon as an Amanah. With eyes, we are able to appreciate other blessings of Allah, in a better way. No doubt, it’s meant to help us to worship Allah excellently.
However, eyes is one of the most critical organs in human body, after the tongue. It determines what we choose and how we react to happenings surrounding us. We unlikely fall in love to something we haven’t’ seen, even when we are told about it. Unless it’s described in a creative way, that grants us virtual vision of the described objects.
When we talk about lowering one’s gaze, it’s not only applicable to particular gender. The requirement for Muslims to lower their gaze is applicable to males (Muslims) and females (Muslimahs). This is because, males and females share the same self-desires (Shahawat), which requires the use of eyes in achieving it.
Allah says in Surah Al-Nour, 24:30-31:
It means, “Tell the Believing Men to lower their gaze and remain chaste. That is purer for them. Allah is aware of what they do. Also, tell the Believing Women that they should lower their gaze and remain chaste…”
I came across the following list of advice from the Islam Q&A website (http://islamqa.info/en/ref/20229). I’m highlighting some of them here (after rephrasing them, for the benefit of this book), in the hope, that we find them useful, and that they may guide us in the process of constant lowering of our gaze:
  • One has to bear in mind that Allah is watching him/her: Allah sees him and is with him wherever he goes. It may be a secretive glance of which your neighbour is unaware, but Allah knows of it.
  • Let’s seek the help of Allah: Beseeching Him and calling upon Him (du’a).
  • Constant conscious that eyes is a blessing and an Amanah, entrusted upon us: Blessings require us to be thankful for them, and trusts (Amanah) requires us to be responsible caregivers.
  • Practice makes perfect: We can train ourselves to lower our gaze. With time, one will perfect in doing so, insha Allah.
  • Remember that lowing our gaze instills great pleasure in one’s heart:“Whoever leaves something for Allah’s Sake, Allah will compensate him with something better.” [Hadeeth].
  • Surround yourself with good company: “Show me your friend, and I’ll tell you, whom you are.” Good company will advise you, remind you and guide you.
  • Do yourself a favour: Avoid places where you feel you are likely to be exposed to the temptation of raising your gaze. This includes TV, websites, forum pages, window shopping (going to shopping malls just to spend time, not for specific need) and sitting in the street.
May Allah swt guide us all and grant us the true knowledge and may He grant us taufiq in practising what we've learnt. InsyaAllah. Ameen.

Alhamdulillah, I've learnt something new from reading this article on IslamQA.com on the question of "What is meant by lowering the gaze?" May it be of benefit.

Of The Sand, Seas and Skies

-Selesa Beach Resort, Port Dickson

Alhamdulillah for the opportunity to spend time in Malaysia over the past weekend. It was a wonderful retreat, away from the hassle of city life, school, other commitments, 3G and wifi. Though I didn't manage to get a particular souvenir for myself, the enriching and refreshing experience I obtained from just being actively present before His Creations were more than enough. On every journey, Allah is our Companion and only in Him do we seek refuge and guidance. Always count your blessings, to the oft-forgotten ones like our eyes and sight, ears and the ability to hear, mind and heart to think and feel, among the other senses we're blessed with. :

Indeed, in the creation of the heavens and the earth and the alternation of the night and the day are signs for those of understanding. Who remember Allah while standing or sitting or [lying] on their sides and give thought to the creation of the heavens and the earth, [saying], "Our Lord, You did not create this aimlessly; exalted are You [above such a thing]; then protect us from the punishment of the Fire.
-Surah 'Ali 'Imran: 190-191

Go Green With Brocco

I used to loathe eating this vegetable. Now that I look at it, it is such a beautiful creation. Seems like it's the only veggie that so closely resembles that of a bigger in proportion, equal in greatness creation, that is, the tree(:
Just take a closer look at the immaculately designed vegetable and feel its texture with your bare hands. Loving the green indeed and how I wish broccoli seeds exist!

Subhanallah. Beauty, that reflects of His Greatness, is everywhere. Alhamdulillah for the gift of my five senses.

Because your action speaks a lot about you.

Who would've thought
that by taking a step back and pause
to take the action of privately telling her or him that what he or she did was wrong and possibly done out of ignorance
instead of telling the person off and possibly embarrassing him or her in front of others who saw the mistake manifested
would actually make me question what kind of Muslim and a person am I
Will you let them be when you know what you saw is wrong
will you put it off and think to yourself someone else will do it
if you really loved your brother or sister, or even yourself in fact, you would grab the opportunity to kindly correct your fellow Muslim
who is just as flawed as you, because you want goodness for him or her just as you would for yourself,
plus on top of it all you can earn extra points from He who sees it all.

MasyaAllah. I'm just astounded by this person's action and character. Maybe this is what it means when people say dakwah is your actions. Dakwah is your character. May Allah swt reward the person abundantly. And let this be a lesson and something to reflect on, for myself especially and you dear readers.

Because you never know, what seemingly small actions that you do sincerely and tactfully out of love for others(Muslims or not) could be the reason why Allah bestows His Mercy upon you by blessing you with Jannah.

The Greatest Blessing Of All

"The greatest blessing and the peak of all blessings is to be able to see Allah subhanu wa ta'ala in Jannah."
- a gem from last Friday night's claass
So, I remind and invite myself first, and all of you blessed readers, to embark on this path of striving towards mardhatillah(pleasure of Allah). We all want to see our Creator in Jannah, don't we?

InsyaAllah. O Allah, make us strong. Ameen.

Keep calm and thank Allah.

Just like how the title goes.

We Are More than Our Exterior

Bismillah.

Don't let yourself have the thought that this particular person doesn't look like someone who's gonna do this and do that. Doesn't look like someone who prays, goes for religious classes, wake up for Tahajjud prayers or reads the Quran at all. Never. Because you don't know. Just because we see a person's exterior for that one thing that seems to portray him or her in a light that's "better" than us, shouldn't, in any way, signal to us to make passing, unfair remarks and judgments like that. Should you find yourself beginning to have such thoughts, take a deep breath and let it go. Let it all go. Let your thoughts slip past the exterior of a person. Know that you know nothing. Remember that Allah subhanu wa ta'ala is the only One who knows, and knows best. Keep calm, smile and think positive. Always practice thinking well of others. Remember your 70 excuses to make for others. Care more about the kind heart that lies within instead.

Jaga diri, jaga hati. InsyaAllah.

Sisters, Hijab, struggles.

OH MUSLIMAH

"A sister wearing hijab might struggle with performing her salaah on time, a sister who never misses a salaah and prays fardh, sunnah and nafil might have trouble wearing hijab in public, a sister who wears a lot of make-up might have memorised juz amma and a sister who wears niqab might be struggling to learn to read Quran with tajweed.

Truth is we are all struggling with something o...r another, no body is perfect yet people seem to think a person who dresses a certain way or looks a certain way is more pious than another or should be…

Next time before we judge a book by it’s cover let us look at ourselves and remember only Allah know’s what someones intentions are and what is in a person’s heart.

Make du’a for your sisters struggling with an aspect of Islam, remember 70 excuses for your fellow Muslim, don’t judge and look down at them…for Allah might forgive their ignorance but not your arrogance."

May it be of benefit insyaAllah.
Do share it around!

The 2 Most Important Ones

It would be a shame if were to devote ourselves to seeking the pleasure of Allah but not realize that the key to attaining His pleasure lies in pleasing our parents.
-Brother Fadhuli Taufek, from his article on Khutbah Reflections: Treating Our Parents with Respect and Good Manners ; read here

It is reported on the authority of 'Abdullah that the Apostle of Allah observed:
The best of' the deeds or deed is the (observance of) prayer at its proper time and kindness to the parents. [Sahih Muslim]

Tonight

Tonight,
Let go of your sorrows, worries, uncertainties, insecurities
and filter them all from memory
Tonight,
Go to sleep with a grateful heart
for what He blessed you with
A heart full of certainty and faith that our hearts are in His care and control.

Allah swt is always taking care of us.

All praise be to Allah, our only God to which is He alone without any partners.

On Returning

Today I watched Bohsia 2: Jalan Kembali, a movie directed by Syamsul Yusof. Maybe I'm the last to catch it but nevermind.

These are the 2 main takeaways that I obtained from this movie, enlightening and a timely reminder alhamdulillah.

1) If you talk about size, then the size of our sins accumulated is probably a speck of dust compared to Mercy and Forgiveness of Allah.

We very often forget this but remember,
Say, "O My servants who have transgressed against themselves [by sinning], do not despair of the mercy of Allah . Indeed, Allah forgives all sins. Indeed, it is He who is the Forgiving, the Merciful." Surah az-Zumar: 53
         -Quran.com, Sahih International

Alhamdulillah, I came across this status update by bro Aiman Azlan. May it be a good guideline to follow insyaAllah.

"3 things on my mind right now:
1. Avoid sins to the best of your ability.
2. When you do commit a sin, be ashamed of it.
3. In shame, don't cripple yourself. Allah's Mercy is bigger than your sin. Let the shame be a motivating factor for you to change for the better. "

2) There's no way to go but to turn and return to Allah.

This world is crazy. This world, like me and you know it, is a messed up place. But this is also the very world that is temporary for us.This world is not our place. We are not created for this world. We don't belong here. We came from, belong to and will return to our one and only God, Allah swt.

We are creations of Him. And Allah, our Creator, also created death for us.

Thus on that note, I would like to share this video that a sister shared which insyaAllah will shed some light on the topic. I urge all of us to watch it, if you already have, watch it again. We can never have enough reminders.

May we benefit from it.

O Allah, You are the Most Forgiving, please forgive us.
O Allah, all this while we have drowned in sinful slumber and neglected You, please save us and wake us up and grant us hidayah from You.
Ameen.

So this.

Beauty & Mischief

For the blue skies in the day
and the hues of red when the night breaks
I thank God for blessing with the gift of sight
If I let this pain drown me then I will probably never learn to appreciate
What He gave me He can also take
away
I probably cried because I never realised
The soul is worn and torn after falling the second time
Covered with dirt and dust
I know it yearns for something else
The waves could perhaps ease
the mischief and mayhem of it which never seems to be pleased
I hug this pillow to myself tight
Suppress and suppress
when will you do it right.

Thursday, 28 February 2013

The rain is enveloping my heart
Seeping through the memories
It speaks a different language to me and you
I hope you understand how the two can never really work it out
You have to bear the pain of choice
Or continue to drown in the thunderstorm you thought was a rainbow.

Bi idhnillah? Fi Amanillah?

Bismillah.

Ever came across Arabic terms that you are unsure of its meaning? The presence of Google makes it much it easier now but alhamdulillah, here I would like to share a website that I recently came across, bi idhnillah, a website that features a compilation of commonly used Arabic terms that I find to be beneficial alhamdulillah.

Since we will be accounted for our actions on the Day of Judgement, let's make dua to Allah that He grants us goodness and wisdom in every click that we make on the time spent online.

May those who are involved in the compilation be rewarded immensely for their work.

May Allah grant us understanding and make us slaves who learn, understand and apply what we've learnt with ikhlas and istiqamah, insyaAllah. Ameen.

No Coincidences

Bismillah.

No coincidences. All that has taken place and that will be taking place are all in accordance to Your Will. Your timing is perfect and indeed You know best in all our affairs. We just have to pursue, work. strive, have faith in ourselves and have utmost faith in You. And as for these blanks, I seek Your help in filling them and in filling me as well. Ameen.

Animals in Islam

Bismillah. I would like to share this Facebook status update by Environment & Animal's Rights in Islam on 22 January 2013. In Islam, the welfare of animals is placed on high importance so much so that the animals that we wrong(nauzubillah) will testify against us on the Day of Judgement.

"The Prophet Muhammad -peace be upon him- taught Muslims to have mercy on all of God’s creation. A Muslim considers most animals to be deserving of a respect as creatures. He shows mercy to them due to the mercy of God upon them."

According to Islamic Shari'ah, mistreating animals is considered a sin in Islam. A Muslim is responsible for the care of animals so much so that an ill-treated animal will testify against the one who abused it on the Day of Judgement. Islam forbids branding animals and killing them in vain, such as for sport. The last prophet of Islam, Mohammed -peace be upon him- forbade people to capture baby birds, burn anthills, and whip animals. Even in slaughtering certain animals for food, Islam requires that the slaughtering be done according to Islamic procedure, which is humane and aims to cause the animals as little suffering as possible. As humans, we have a responsibility towards every living creature.

Have you ever gone to any Pet Shops ? Poor, helpless animals imprisoned in tiny cages without even enough space to turn around.Their sad, pleading eyes haunting. I wondered if the pet shop owner ever thought about what it would be like to be paralyzed, as he has incarcerated birds in little cages. And for what beneficial purpose? Weren’t birds meant to fly? Maybe only a fellow animal lover would really understand, yet the importance of kindness to animals is something every Muslim should understand as a part of his worldview. It is such a serious matter that in Islam, it is understood that one could gain Heaven or Hell due to one’s treatment of animals.

Abu Hurayrah was a close Companion of the Prophet Mohammed -peace be upon him- and has narrated more hadiths, or sayings of the Prophet than any other Companion. He was known for being very sympathetic and loving towards animals so much so that although his name was Abdur-Rahmaan, he was known as Abu Hurayrah, meaning “father of the kitten.” He was called so because of a small cat that he used to feed and care for and carry with him everywhere he went.
May Allah bestow upon us love and mercy towards His creations, eventually to attain His Love and Mercy. Ameen.

Extraordinary

Bismillah.
This just occurred to me. The attitude of "Serves you right" or better known as "Tulah kau, padan muka" makes me cringe. I remember reading somewhere before that what annoys you or gets at your "off-limits" zone is that which is actually in you. Something like a dark side, so we're actually disliking something within ourselves. that needs change. Which most of the time, we fail to see it but only in others, perhaps the reason why we're so bent in changing others, before ourselves. Well, it makes much sense. Astaghfirullah.

To picture it, it is just like being content with others' plight/"suffering"/discomfort/inconvenience just because we felt it before too and by them experiencing the same it somehow compensates for our "pain". I don't know, I am still young and not that very experienced in matters of life but just laying down what I feel.

Another angle of it is when we try to comfort ourselves by coming up with excuses for our shortcoming by focusing on the shortcoming of others that makes it seems "equivalent" to our own.

"Ala, aku bukannye sengaje. Macam la dia tak pernah lambat tsk!"

In my opinion, the culture of this "padan muka kau" attitude makes it seem fair. Afterall, it's like. "I'm just human too". So we're just ordinary humans. I've seen extraordinary people, just like me and you who always gives a person the benefit of the doubt, thinks well of them, who don't retaliate on impulse, who admits their mistakes, who sympathise and empathise people more than what normal people would do, to simply abandon, disregard and mutter "Padan muka dia".

As Muslims, we strive to be better and we should always strive to be better. Better person means better akhlak, But if we're gonna be the same like everyone else, reacting like everyone else, what will make us stand out from the rest in the sight of Allah s.w.t.?

I, you, we, need to stop blaming others for our shortcomings.
We need to be responsible for ourselves.
Seriously dude, seriously sis, like seriously.

Eradicate the negative, Inhale positivity
Output will be wonderful and blessed, insyaAllah!

May Allah forgive us for our shortcomings and grant us hidayah and guidance to be better beings, better Muslims. Ameen.

Rain, Rain, Come Again Another Day

Bismillah.
Subhanallah, how beautiful it is, if only I can capture the experience of a day where it has been raining throughout. Chill is all that I feel, the day accompanied by rain pouring forth from the skies,
I want to stay forever in awe of the beauty of these two creations.
Subhanallah. Subhanallah. Subhanallah.

The rain is beautiful and so are the grey skies,
don't tell them to go away.

Let's learn to always see beauty in Allah's creations. :)

Under His Shade of Love

Bismillah.
Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala is really taking care of us. He is very kind, more than we can possibly imagine. Alhamdulillah. We just have to pay attention.
May Allah guide us all and gather us in Jannah one day, insyaAllah.

Good Morning

Bismillah.
To change our days we first change our mornings to be fruitful.

Let's work towards a productive morning with Allah, for Allah, by saying Alhamdulillah when our eyes open in the morning from sleep, waking up for Fajr prayer and reading the Quran(even if it's just a page with translation).
May Allah s.w.t. make us steadfast on His Deen. Ameen.

In the Lovely, Early Hours

Sunrise Dream Scape

Bismillah.
I've been spending much of time at home these few days so I decided to take a morning walk while accompanying my mum to the train station.

Alhamdulillah.
for the tranquility in the morning air, Walking outdoors while the sun is still set
Beneath the enveloping peaceful atmosphere,
that many others elsewhere can only wish for
Birds chirping, while actually, they're praising Allah, their Creator too. What a better reminder than that at that point of time that I too should also say, "Subhanallah".
The trees upright decorate the streets, the birds flying across and over the speed of us may find us small creatures, getting from one place to another.A reminder that in His sight we humans are just the same, slaves of Allah.
Walking home the sky is now clear
I thank Allah for the pair of eyes He has granted me, to see of His Greatness and Beauty.
In my hand I held a plastic bag, in it were 3 packets of food, for me and my dad.
Our rizq(sustenance) is set, but we have to get up and look for it, to feed ourselves so we have the strength, bi idhnillah, to continue to live and strive for Him.
Alhamdulillah. All praises be to Allah s.w.t.

There are traffic noise and gas exhaust around but really, it's what you choose to see :)

O Allah, help us to remember You, to be grateful to You and to worship You in the best of manners. Ameen.

Tech Tips & The Quran

Bismillah. In this post I would like to, insyaAllah, share a tip. I believe most of us are now equipped with smart phones and with multiple apps, in addition to text message and WhatsApp, notifications come in ringing by calling for our attention every so often. And there's no need to elaborate, the force Facebook has on us is that strong that we just have to check it at least once a day. But what about the book of Allah?

If we can have the need to check our Facebook or any other social networking utility at least once daily lest we feel that something is missing, why can't we, as Muslims, who strive to live to attain His Pleasure by obeying Him and following Prophet Muhammad(p.b.u.h.)'s sunnah, make some time for the Quran, the words of Allah s.w.t, conveyed to His Messenger?

So this is how. Turn off all Facebook notifications. Before you click the Facebook icon on your phone or device, ask yourself if you have read the Quran yet today. Read a page for example, or a short surah along with its translation. Or just the translation. Take your time and don't rush through it. Not for the sake of it, but because you know there's something far more important to value and make time for.
Alhamdulillah it has worked for me and I believe that, insyaAllah, it will work for you too :)

On that note, to minimize distractions during prayer and reading of Quran, let's silent our phones. Let go. For a while, for a few extra minutes, for Allah. It wouldn't hurt. Instead, it will benefit us, insyaAllah.

May Allah guide us all and make us steadfast on His Deen. Ameen.

There's An Ant In My Drink!

Bismillah.
A while ago I poured some warm water into a plastic cup and walked to the dining table for my dinner. Somehow I managed to catch an ant in my plain mineral water. I replaced the water thereafter. Of course, that's not the point I'm trying to bring across.

This incident reminded me of a story I read online which I can't remember the exact details of but nevermind. It tells of a story of a young boy who asks his father how is Allah s.w.t. taking care of us. His dad replied by making him recall those times when he is about to drink yet just before he does, his eyes catch the sight of an insect in his drink, thus making him stop. That, his father said, is just one of the ways of Allah taking care of us.

Now this may just be a simple and short story but I believe it has a important message.

We are by default, weak humans. We forget, slip, fall, overlook so many things. But Allah is far from all that. He never forgets and He is the One taking care of us at all times, whether or not we choose to remember Him. If He wills, He could have just let our sight slip past the insect and we drank the drink without knowing nothing. But He loves us. Allah, ar-Rahman, ar-Rahim.

Let's say Alhamdulillah. All praises belongs to Allah subhanahu wa ta a'la.

The Greatest Blessing

Bismillah. The words of my ustaz still echoes through my mind. It sounds something like,
"Have you ever wondered what it would be like to meet Allah, Your Lord? Wouldn't you want to see The Face of Allah? All this while you have been praying to Him, fasting for Him.. Truly, the greatest blessing of a Muslim is when he sees His Lord in Heaven."
Hearing that makes a heart yearn and long for a meeting with He whose Love has never and will never be lost, as long as the one holding onto the rope of His Deen remains steadfast till he meets Him.
And then my ustaz went on about the story of Prophet Musa 'alayhissalam who wanted to see Allah S.W.T. The Quran depicts of his story:
And when Moses arrived at Our appointed time and his Lord spoke to him, he said, "My Lord, show me [Yourself] that I may look at You." [ Allah ] said, "You will not see Me, but look at the mountain; if it should remain in place, then you will see Me." But when his Lord appeared to the mountain, He rendered it level, and Moses fell unconscious. And when he awoke, he said, "Exalted are You! I have repented to You, and I am the first of the believers."(Surah al-'Araf, Verse 143) Sahih International- Quran.com
Subhanallah. Even an inanimate creation cripples at the sight of its Creator. What would it be like for us?

Our human eyes fall short of the strength to see Him in this dunya but,
[Some] faces, that Day, will be radiant, Looking at their Lord. (Surah al-Qiyamah, Verses 22-23) Sahih International- Quran.com
So now the question is, whose faces on Judgement Day, will be the radiant ones? Will we do all that we can to be among those which such, blessed with the greatest of blessing?

Grant Me A Friend

O Allah,
Grant me a friend
Who in her companionship will gain another
So we can be each other's pillars
In seeking Your Pleasure
Ameen.
